UAB repairs Megasonic Carriers of all sizes (8100, 8050, 6100).

    Some of the more frequent repairs we encounter are:

        Cracks in the Tefzel lining, or at the ends of the bottom or side bars.

        Missing or reduced Megasonic Energy.

        Wafer loading problems & broken bottom bars.

        Damaged sealing surfaces.

We will evaluate your carrier, using the CFM specification criteria for the original equipment carriers, and provide you with a report detailing any issues we find.  We will also give you a quote to repair the carrier back to the CFM specifications. 

If you have UAB repair your carrier there is no charge for the evaluation.  If you choose not to have the repairs performed, there is a $400 evaluation fee.

Please call UAB at 215-785-4483 and request an RMA number before sending your carrier to us.  Be sure to decontaminate the vessel before shipment and use the original plastic shipping container to prevent shipping damage.

We try to keep a "loaner" 8100 carrier on hand for customers that encounter a systems down situation.  Please call for more information.
